Terms of use

What it is, in one line
Wyrdlog is a place where your group writes the campaign notes, during the session and between sessions. It is free. It is not for playing, it does not roll dice and it replaces no rulebook: you already have those.
The link is the key
Anyone holding the campaign link can read and write in it, whoever they are. That is on purpose, because nobody at a table wants to sign up for anything, but it means two things. Treat the link like a password: do not post it anywhere. And inside a campaign there are no roles: everyone can correct and delete everyone's notes, and edits stay visible with the name of whoever made them.
What not to put in it
Personal details of people who are not at your table: emails, phone numbers, addresses, things told to you in confidence. And nothing illegal or that you have no right to share. The log is yours, but a person's data is theirs: if you really need to write someone's real name in it, ask them first.
The service is as it is
It is offered free and as is, with no warranty: I do not promise it will always be reachable, or that it will be here forever. There is no contract, no subscription and nobody on call at night. If a campaign matters to you, export it every now and then: the button is there for that, and that copy stays yours whatever happens to me.
Abandoned campaigns delete themselves
A campaign nobody opens for a while is deleted with everything in it: notes, characters, maps, photos and drawings. Opening it resets the count to zero. The exact times are on the data page.
When I can step in
I can suspend or remove a campaign that goes against these terms, or that puts the service at risk for everyone else (if someone uses it to blast out mail, say). I look at the content of your notes only when it takes that to keep the service running, or when you ask me to, not out of curiosity.
The software is mine, the notes are yours
The code, the artwork, the texts and the name Wyrdlog are my property and are not free to use, copy or rebuild. What you write stays yours: you can export it whenever you like and ask me to delete it.
For anything at all
Write to info@wyrdlog.com. Italian law applies. If I change these terms, the date above says so.
